Learning Management System (LMS) 8 Jun 2026 (Isnin) 2.30 pagi

Objectives
  1. Providing a centralised learning management system or one-stop learning platform including resources for teachers and students in supporting digital teaching and leaming with adaptive capabilities.
  2. Providing every teachers and students with one account to access, connect and engage with all provided learning tools and educational solution comprehensively through their primary and secondary school years (4-12).
  3. Provide the Ministry a detailed analytics and reporting features and allow educators and parents to monitor student performance, track formative progress, and identify areas where students may need additional support. This data-driven approach helps improve learning outcomes.

The problems
  • Currently, there is no centralised LMS that can benefit all the Ministry of Education stakeholders in which every relevant departments can also access and engage with teachers and students.
  • The current online education tool is difficult to manage, monitor, analyse and collect data as every schools has its own unit/ organisation domains.
  • Single sign-on (SSO) is critically important to provide access to a centralised LMS.
  • Required a system which is easy to use both front and end users.
  • Most importantly in need for a system that can easily be scalable (third party integration).

Why LEARN is a LMS?
It serves the same roles as what an LMS is designed to do in education:
  • It offer a gateway to teachers, students (and guardians*) to access educational content, resources and tools - thus provides Centralised Digital Platform for Learning.
  • The platforms support teaching and learning.
  • Not only use for delivery of content but also provides management and administration of learning.
  • Provides single sign-on (SSO) for students and teachers to access multiple tools. Enables collaboration (Docs, Teams, Classroom) and personalised digital learning pathways.
  • Provides analytics for administrators and policymakers. This helps the Ministry track student engagement, teacher adoption, and learning outcomes.
LEARN & not just a website or a resource hub, it's a full Learning Management System because it combines content delivery, learning activity management, collaboration, and monitoring in one structured platform for the entire Brunei K-12 education system.
